Happy Baby-Happy Mommy!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Awwww.....what an awesome day! Everyone of my Kiddos wished me a "Happy Mom's" day! It's hard to know where to begin. First of all my Mother even sent a HUGE plant saying she's glad I am hers! I hope this plant sticks around for awhile! Tony and Wendy totally caught me off guard when they sent awesome family pictures and a frame from Isella that had "NANA" craved on it! OH boy the water works began.....so special! Stormy, thank you for coming over a day early and showering me with flowers and chocolates (hands off Greg--you chocalate addict you!) LOL....That was some good planning on your part cause you had to work ALL day today...Coming home from church and Chris and Amy were on the answering machine-what a nice surprise...all the boys helped Greg get some unfinished projects done around the house---WHOA, now that's what I'm talking about---Tasha, thank you for remembering me too, while you had to work all day TOO! Today was an awesome day and I have to mention the highlight that really tugged on my heart, was that ALL through the day....I received text messages and phone calls wishing me a HAPPY MOM'S DAY from ALL of Kyles' friends....WOW...that really got to me! I think GOD was trying to tell me something! He has it all under control! To know your purpose in life is a GIFT! I AM A MOM....AND I AM BLESSED BEYOND WORDS!

Thanks everyone......love you ALL!

TOO MUCH STUDYING,,,

Ahhh....the wonderful time of FINALS--YIKES---I have so much more respect for our older children who have gone thru college...oh my goodness...so stressful. I never knew it was possible for my head to hurt cause the brain is a MUSCLE and it's been over worked this week for sure!

Oh but I got some relief today when Lindsay brought Little Logan over for a long visit....

Oh what a nice break from studying...we had fun!

LADIES NIGHT OUT

There must of been about 25 or 30 of us...It was hard to tell above all the chit-chatting and laughing. We all met up at Christian Life Center and jumped into cars and car-pooled up to Mesquite, which took about an hour. We had dinner at ON THE BORDER...The funniest part of the evening was trying to find a parking space...have you ever played the game FROGGER? Oh my goodness, have you ever tried to find a parking space when 5 women are telling you how to get in the space---I was laughing so hard and so grateful I wasn't driving--A for effort, Angie...Thanks for driving--YOU did a great job! I have to give Kudos to our wait staff---they were awesome and had us out of the restaurant just in time to get to movies....We saw GHOST OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST....OH BOY----It had a good message about how real love changes your life....but I would have to recommend it for mature audiences only! I want to wish all the Mom's out there a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

THE HEAT IS ON!

OH....yea....summer is here...but not officially! I have 11 more days of school, the heat is on for those final essays, quizzes and FINALS---UGH! I have a lot more compassion for the kiddos with their school work. YIKES, it's hard to try and juggle house, kids and school work! I am getting excited but oh so trying to stay focused, so I can keep all the A"s I have.

Since the last blog, we watched Lindsay get pinned for her Occupational Therapy program, it was a great time, and then we celebrated with a pig roast at her friend's house. Little Logan is not so little anymore...He is going to be a big boy, such a happy kid! He's 4 months old already! We also survived another Prom. Greg and the boys have been fishing warriors, the lake is filled with HUGE catfish! WEll, now our freezer is filled! It's hard to believe that it's May already. It's almost time to turn on the air conditioning----Ugh again...We sure don't like those electric bills. We've had so much rain down here the humidity is taking over! We hope everyone is having a great spring and we are looking forward to our ZITKO family reunion in Alabama the weekend of June 25th thru 28th. We will be celebrating Greg's 50th!

Exciting Time

The time is ticking so fast....it's been about 6 weeks since I have blogged. School is going great even though Math is really challenging at times...but my teenagers are really helpful. The latest and greatest news is the addition to our family....Isella is a big sister--finally--we got spoiled with Isella arriving on her due date, that when Baby Gap#2 thought about being 6 days late, we all became anxious. GOD timing is always not on our time schedule thats for sure--February 27th LUISA KAYE GAPASTIONE made her entrance---from the news Tony revealed he hardly had time to get his video camera out before she was delivered! This coming Thursday March 12th I will be flying out there to hold her and take walks with Isella. I am so excited....you know the camera will be clicking away. Meantime at home we have been having fun watching lil Logan get so big. While I am in California Logan will be hitting his 3 month mark! He's such a happy baby and so much fun to see!
