Yes....every Saturday there is about 20 or so church softball teams that meet up at the Gun Barrel City baseball fields....the little kids play in the playground, a great concession stand and the fire department is RIGHT there.
CLC (christian life center) has two teams....the adults are called the Crushers and the youth are THE GROOVE. Next saturday, is the final tournament...so we will see where we end up!
I have to say...I give them alot of credit...it's in the hi 90's and the humidity is unbearable but it's another way to keep connected with our community....as for me....I'm just a spectator with a big CHEER!
